18/08/2026.- NMWE publishes its 2026 EU Code of Conduct Annual Report, highlighting progress in turning sustainability commitments into practical action.
Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE) has published its 2026 EU Code of Conduct Annual Report, showcasing the progress made by the natural mineral and spring water sector over the past year.
The report highlights the practical tools, partnerships and initiatives developed to advance the sector’s commitments across four key areas: sustainable water management, biodiversity, decarbonisation and circular packaging.
The 2026 report builds on the work and tools developed in previous years, while highlighting new initiatives and further progress across the sector. These include the launch of Sources for Nature, the SkySource analytical campaign, continued support for sustainability reporting, and further work on packaging circularity and Deposit Return Systems.
Through the EU Code of Conduct, NMWE continues to work with its members and stakeholders to support continuous improvement and the transition towards more sustainable food systems.
