05/09/2025.- Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE) has published its fourth annual report under the EU Code of Conduct for Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices.
This year we delivered several key tools for natural mineral and spring water companies. Highlights include the launch of a biodiversity tool in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the rollout of a sector-wide Life Cycle Assessment tool, the creation of new resources to support sustainable water management, and the publication of a comprehensive Deposit Return System (DRS) Playbook to guide the effective collection and recycling of beverage packaging.
‘Our work in 2025 is about equipping our members, especially SMEs, with the tools and guidance they need to turn ambition into tangible action,’ said Patricia Fosselard, Secretary General of NMWE.
