From 17 to 19 June 2025, Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE) will hold its annual general meetings in Málaga. These meetings will bring together members from across the sector to agree on key priorities and drive forward collective action.
This year’s programme will explore a variety of strategic themes that are pivotal for the future of the sector. Discussions will focus on water resilience, examining how to turn policy into action with contributions from policymakers, scientists, and biodiversity experts.
Eager for its packaging to become circular, the industry will hear from a wide panel of speakers who will share their experience of setting up efficient deposit return systems. The programme will also explore the sector’s role in protecting biodiversity and contributing to local and regional socio-economic development. This will highlight the broader value that the sector brings, beyond environmental stewardship. These conversations will be enriched by expert speakers from EU institutions, research bodies, environmental organisations and industry.
NMWE’s Annual Meetings are about more than just routine gatherings: they demonstrate the sector’s shared ambition to protect what is essential, adapt to new realities, and take purposeful leadership. The meetings provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring the sector remains aligned with the broader goals of resilience and long-term sustainability.
And last but not least, our gathering brings with it the pleasure of spending some time face to face with dear colleagues and friends in a relaxing setting until the routine of virtual meetings hits us again.
