World Water Day 2022
On the 22nd of March the world observes World Water Day. This year;s theme is “Groundwater – making the invisible visible”.
For this occasion, Natural Mineral Waters Europe spoke with Arnaud Collignon, Water Resource Manager at Spadel. He revealed the great importance of protecting the precious underground water sources and their surrounding environment – helping us make the invisible visible.
Natural mineral and spring water producers all over Europe have been the guardians of the water sources and their surrounding catchment areas for as much as a hundred years. The quality and purity of their product depends on an intact environment, free from pollution. Their priority is to protect the environment through which the water flows to reach its natural source and make sure that the amount of water withdrawn respects the natural recharge of the source to ensure availability for future generations.
